Five years after Syrian archbishops' abduction, Christians need help finding answers
It has been more than five years since two of the most important figures in the Christian clergy – Archbishop Yohanna Ibrahim and Archbishop Boulos Yazigi, respective heads of the Syriac and Greek Orthodox Churches in Aleppo – were kidnapped in Syria by an identified party in the midst of what was then “no-man’s land” between rebel and regime-held territory.
